Icon Commission Information

INFORMATION
- If requesting a commission, please contact me by note. In it, include what type of commission, how you'll be paying (paypal or points), reference images, and any additional information.
- Subject matter is up to you-- I'm willing to accept anything else that can be offered. If something is difficult for me, I will tell you beforehand and adjust accordingly.
- The finished piece may be posted on my art pages (dA, tumblr, etc), unless otherwise requested not to. You can also request to go by a pseudonym and not have it credited directly to your account.
- Prices may change, depending on the complexity of the design, the number of characters, whether it's full size or a bust, etc.
- If you're requesting multiple icons of the same character, then each extra icon is 10% off. This is because I'm reusing the palette and occasionally extra bits from the original, so it requires slightly less work.
- I am a-okay with doing humans, anthros/furries, gore/blood, and nudity.
- I'm willing to do NSFW and more ~niche~ stuff, although they won't be posted publicly. Message me if you're curious about options.
- A link to my progress per commission is included in my queue HERE. As long as I've made NO progress on the commission, then you are free to change the character/other major details at any point.
- Refunds will be issued based on how much progress is done, informed by said progress queue (ex if it's 50% done, you will get a 50% refund, etc), along with whatever I had done so far for posterity.

PAYMENT
- Most payment must be made beforehand and upfront.
- Higher end commissions ($100+) can be negotiated half now/half later in certain circumstances, or a long term payment plan, but I strongly prefer all up front if you can manage it.
- Cash payments must be sent through PayPal.
- FOR POINT COMMISSIONS: PLEASE DO NOT DONATE OR SEND POINTS DIRECTLY. Instead, use the commission widget on my page.
- Point commissions are slightly more expensive than cash. This is because when I convert, dA takes 20% of it, so I have to make up for the lost amount. Sorry!
- Rush fees: if you absolutely need a piece done by a certain date, it will cost an extra 25% of the normal price.

Again: prices may change based on complexity of the character!! Patterns/intricate detail/gradients/etc will likely raise the initial cost.

Basic Icon/No Animation
$19.00
Simple, no animation icons. May have some very tiny animation thing like a floating logo (ie the pony icons), but that's usually it.

Small Animation
$23.00
Has very minimal animation. A blink, a bounce, generally very simple stuff.

Normal Animation
$29.00
A simple but nice, bouncy motion. Floating or flying animations are an extra $6.00 (600 ), because their movement is a little more complex than a ground bounce.

"Half/Full Complex Animations" are pretty nebulous and hard to judge, so apologies for the vastly ranging price points. They also take a very long time to do, hence the steeper numbers.

Half Complex Animation (Limbs)
$35 - $65+
Usually has some sort of specific movement or action involved. A tail swishing, heads moving, an arm doing some sort of gesture, etc. Could also just have enough multiple, small moving parts. Basically, if some body part is moving but the base body stays mostly the same, then it probably goes here.

Full Complex Animation (Full Body)
$65 - $90+
Has a more involved or complicated animation with multiple poses, usually with some intricate movement or action. A good rule of thumb is if I have to manually draw new poses most frames, then it probably falls in this category.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT ANIMATIONS: deviantArt has a 15kb avatar limit, which means that if an animation is too big or complex, you won't be able to set it as your avatar. This is occasionally an issue with half complex icons, but much more frequently comes up with full complex animations. So, depending on how complicated your animation request is, I might not be able to execute it fully because I have to keep it under the size limit. Please keep this in mind if you're requesting a very complex animation! I generally assume people want to set the icons as their dA avatar, but if you're not planning on using your icon for here, please let me know! That way, I can work on it without having to worry about those limitations.
